Improved connectivity

Developers and experts are looking forward to the expansion, after the visit by Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari at Sohna on September 5. There he announced that work on the Haryana portion of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Sohna elevated road will definitely be completed by mid-2022, despite NHAI’s clarification that the Sohna elevated road would be completed only by June 2022.

Market trend

According to recent studies and findings by real estate consultancies, there has been a significant change in buyers’ preferences, as many prefer to reside in gated communities located on the outskirts of the cities.

According to a report released by Anarock, last year almost 57% of home launches in NCR took place in areas on the outskirts of Gurugram, such as Sohna and Sohna Road.

Basic infrastructure

While most of the stakeholders are enthusiastic about Sohna’s emergence as a housing location, others suggest caution as the area is still lacking in physical, social, and recreational infrastructure.
